Oracle, a database specialist company, and SeltaSquare, an AI-based pharmacovigilance specialist, have entered into a partnership under the Oracle Partner Network (OPN).
Through this partnership, SeltaSquare has been granted the rights to sell and implement Oracle's Oracle Argus Safety Database (Oracle Argus) — a standard solution for pharmaceutical safety and reporting, used to manage drug safety data.
SeltaSquare will provide operational and technical support from the perspective of pharmacovigilance professionals, covering the full journey from initial Oracle Argus implementation through to active day-to-day use. In addition, the company plans to leverage its proprietary data standardization solution, SELTA-WAVE, to normalize data from various sources into XML format — automating the complex data entry steps that users often encounter with existing Safety Databases — thereby improving the overall usability of Oracle Argus.
Debiao Zhou, Oracle Life Sciences North Asia Business Head, expressed confidence that the experienced team of specialists would be well-positioned to resolve the real-world challenges faced by Argus users.
SeltaSquare CEO Shin Min-kyung stated: "By integrating our solution with Oracle Argus, we expect to be able to address the labor-intensive tasks that arise when working with a Safety Database."
